The Sanctuary of Cabrera:

The vantage point of Collsacabra

On the cliffs of Collsacabra stands the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Cabrera. An idyllic place, the most charming of the Osona, where you can breathe a quiet, because you can only walk. The walk, which crosses the bridge and Cervical Rotllada Bram, not very long and really worthwhile. Once up, many are those who remain amazed at the sight that are before him. And it is a spectacular viewpoint across the Plain of Vic and Guilleries land extending to the feet of the sanctuary. The summit holds another pleasant surprise for hikers: a hostel where you can relax and have a good meal.

To climb to the shrine, leave Cantonigròs kernel belongs to the municipality of Santa Maria Osona Corcó. Take the C-153 and continue towards Vic for a quarter of an hour to reach the bridge Rotllada. The cross and take the right path, which passes between the pasture that stretch around the house n'Aiats Ca.Here we can see where the mountain climb and, above all, the silhouette of the sanctuary.

At the junction thin, we continue to walk straight. The path leads to the left while the Can Caselles right down to the farmhouses of the Rotllada. Later we find on the right, the path Aiats Can. At this point our path becomes narrow and winding and starts climbing up a gentle rise.

When we find 20 minutes walking the path that deviates to the right Aiats Plan. We, however, continue straight until you reach the place known as The Straits artificial open a gap in the rock that leads directly to Cervical Bram, where the trail ends.

From here they can not move the vehicles. We choose two different paths that lead us directly to the summit. The easiest way is still known as the Marrades rising zigzags between the beech. But we can also raise the level Nou Walk a little more complicated and not suitable for people with vertigo, but more exciting and spectacular as it leads to the temple stairs carved into the rock of the cliff that, sometimes, make us spend sections suspended in mid air.

Take the path we take, we arrive in half an hour, up to the plateau where the Sanctuary Cabrera, surrounded by impressive cliffs on all sides. The time has come to rest before resuming the trip.Although this trip are those who have fallen short, if they can follow one of the many walking paths that leave the sanctuary to neighboring towns or Rupit Sant Esteve d'en Bas
